Why contribute
Every improvement here lands directly with developers who cannot sign up for AWS, Vercel or Heroku. A clearer error message or a fixed edge case is worth more than a big feature nobody asked for.
Ways to help
- Report a bug well
- What you did, what happened, what you expected. If you can reproduce it, say exactly how. This is the most valuable thing you can send.
- Improve the documentation
- If something on the architecture page or in the dashboard confused you, that is a defect in the writing.
- Translations
- The interface is English and Spanish, and both must always say the same thing. Awkward or wrong wording in either is worth reporting.
- Test on bad connections
- This is hard for us to simulate and easy for you to observe. If a flow breaks when the connection drops, we want to know.
- Security
- Handled separately, with a safe harbour — see the Security page.
How to send it
Write to santanarobainaa@gmail.com with one concrete thing: a bug, an idea, a correction, or an area where you can help.
Short and specific beats long and general. A single reproducible bug is more useful than a list of impressions.
What Nautacloud will not become
Being honest about this saves everyone time. Nautacloud is a static site host, and it intends to stay one.
It will not add databases, server-side functions or container hosting. The product wins by being small, free and reachable — not by having more features. Ideas that make static hosting genuinely better are very welcome.
How we treat each other
Be direct, be kind, assume good faith. Technical disagreement is welcome; personal attacks, harassment and discrimination are not, and will end the conversation.
Licensing of contributions
By sending code, text or translations, you confirm you have the right to do so and you allow the project to use, modify and distribute it as part of Nautacloud.
