The principle
Nautacloud is free, and it stays free only while it is not abused. One account serving malware or burning bandwidth threatens the service for everyone else using it.
This policy applies to everything you publish, to how you use the platform, and to the traffic your sites generate.
Content you may not publish
- Malware — viruses, ransomware, exploit kits, or anything designed to damage or gain unauthorised access to a system.
- Phishing — pages impersonating a person, brand, bank or service in order to harvest credentials, payment details or personal data.
- Child sexual abuse material. Reported to the authorities and terminated immediately, without warning.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights you do not hold.
- Content that is illegal where it is published or where it is accessed, including incitement to violence and unlawful hate speech.
- Doxxing — publishing private personal information about someone without their consent.
- Fraud — fake shops, fake giveaways, or pages designed to deceive visitors into parting with money or data.
Things you may not do
- Run command-and-control infrastructure, botnet panels, or hosts for stolen data.
- Use the platform for cryptocurrency mining or any workload whose purpose is to consume resources.
- Operate open proxies, VPN exits or anonymising relays.
- Send or facilitate spam, or host the landing pages behind a spam campaign.
- Use a site as a content-delivery network for assets embedded on sites hosted elsewhere.
- Create multiple accounts to get around the published limits.
- Resell the service, or present it as your own hosting product.
- Attempt to circumvent quotas, rate limits or authentication, or probe the platform's security without permission — see the Security page for how to test legitimately.
Resource use
Accounts are capped and rate-limited, as set out in the Terms. Beyond those numbers, we ask for common sense: the service is sized for personal projects, portfolios, documentation, student work and small applications.
If a site generates traffic or cost that threatens the platform's ability to remain free, we may rate-limit it, cache it more aggressively, or take it offline — and we will contact you when we do.
Reporting abuse
To report a site that breaks this policy, write to santanarobainaa@gmail.com with the subject line "Abuse report".
Include:
- The full URL of the site or page.
- What part of this policy you believe it breaks.
- Evidence — a screenshot, a sample, or how to reproduce what you saw.
- How we can reach you if we need more detail.
We aim to acknowledge reports within 72 hours. Reports of malware, phishing or child sexual abuse material are treated as urgent.
Copyright complaints
If you own rights to material published on Nautacloud without your permission, send a notice to santanarobainaa@gmail.com containing:
- Identification of the work you say is infringed.
- The URL of the material you want removed.
- Your contact details.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
- Your signature, electronic or physical.
Valid notices result in removal of the material. We will inform the person who published it, and they may send a counter-notice if they believe the removal was mistaken. Accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated.
How this is enforced
Our response is proportionate to what happened:
- Warning
- For a first, minor or apparently accidental breach — with an explanation and time to fix it.
- Site suspension
- The site stops being served while the problem is resolved. Your other sites are unaffected.
- Account suspension
- For serious or repeated breaches, or where the whole account is implicated.
- Immediate termination
- Without prior warning, for malware, phishing, child sexual abuse material, attacks on the platform, or anything creating legal exposure or imminent risk.
If you think we got it wrong
Enforcement decisions are made by people, and people make mistakes. Reply to the notice you received, or write to santanarobainaa@gmail.com explaining why the decision was wrong. We will look again.
